Most Businesses Don't Have an AI Problem. They Have a Handoff Problem.
Most business owners have already tried AI
They asked it something, got a decent answer, and then nothing was implemented
That's not an AI problem
The work never left their hands, so AI just added one more step
Answers don't save you time
A chat answer feels smart in the moment
Then you still copy it, fix it, paste it, and send it yourself
You did the job and AI was just the extra tab
I learned this the slow way
I started out asking plain Claude questions and copying the answers out
When I moved to Claude Code, it started doing the work with me instead of just explaining it
Now I run my work through cloud agents, and most of it gets handed off whole
The tool changed a few times, but the real change was learning how to hand things off
What a real handoff looks like
You give it a clear task, from start to finish, not a question about the task
You decide how you'll check it before it starts
Then you let it run and look at what comes back
For the first few rounds it shows me the output without acting on it
Once it gets it right three or four times in a row, I let it act on its own
What I still do manually
My AI writes the first draft, and I'm still the one who reads it and hits send
Handing off the work doesn't mean handing off the judgment
Start with one boring task
Don't start with a big AI plan
Pick one task you repeat every week that nobody enjoys doing
Write down how you'd check it, then hand all of it over
What's one task you'd hand off this week?
